Early in the morning, one of our company’s top tour operators will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam and drive you for about 4 hours in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to Edfu. Once there, go to see:
Edfu Temple
One of the most magnificent temples along the Nile was built during the Greco-Roman era and is called Edfu Temple. The paintings and decorations on the temple’s walls were a great surprise because the pharaohs of Egypt’s form were expertly preserved by the temple’s talented builders. The temple is dedicated to Horus, a falcon-headed deity who murdered Seth, who had killed Osiris’s father.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant then proceed to witness:
Kom Ombo Temple
The construction of the Kom Ombo Temple began during the Ptolemaic era and was only completed during the Roman era. Two of the most well-known gods of ancient Egypt, Horus, and Sobek, each have a dedicated shrine at the Temple of Kom Ombo.
Finally, we will drive your air-conditioned vehicle back to Marsa Alam.
