Diving Site: Ras Um Sid - Temple reef
One of the most thrilling local dive locations in Sharm el Sheikh may be Ras Um Sid. It is a location with a variety of features, including varied geography, the possibility of seeing pelagic species, and swift currents. It is possible to dive as a mooring dive if there is very little current, but you must be careful that the current doesn’t pick up at the corner and make it challenging to swim back to the exit point, which might be either the boat or the beach. It should ideally be dived as a drift dive or semi-drift dive. The dive begins with a steep cliff that includes a stunning collection of Gorgonian fan corals before changing into a vast plateau. Divers frequently get whipped around by the current, and it occasionally pushes them.
