Diving Site: shoab sharm
Unquestionably, Shaab Sharm is one of Marsa Alam’s most notable coastal reefs. The exposed reef, which is 700 m at its longest and is located 12 km off the Egyptian shore. The reef is surrounded by steep walls that drop in stages to a depth of more than 200 metres, allowing the currents to freely flow around it. This promotes the growth of abundant coral and occasionally even draws large fish. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, night dives are not possible here, and the dive site is not suited for beginners—at least some prior diving expertise is required. Divers from various parties are frequently seen together at Shaab Sharm, a famous destination for diving excursions in the south.
