Many dive sites in Hurghada promise an abundance of reef marine life, a wide variety of corals, and the potential for pelagic sightings in the area. Hurghada is a great location for student divers and training due to the easy accessibility of safe, protected ergs and reefs close to the coast with excellent visibility. There are still enough virgin reefs in Hurghada despite the fact that they are somewhat a victim of their own success, drawing photographers and videographers to the area.
